Dimalachite is a privately owned lodge situated in the Vredefort Dome on the banks of the Vaal River 9km from the lovely town of Parys, only an hours drive from Gauteng.
We offer guided fishing trips in the deep water or close to rapids depending on what species you target.
Most popular fish is the Big and Small mouth Yellows, Carp, Mudfish and big Babel.
We are promoting Catch & Release for over 20 year now, and it paid off - our clients are catching really excellent size fish.
You can book a 3hr morning or afternoon session.
We provide a enthusiastic guide as well as all equipment and bait.
Dimalachite offer luxury lodges and chalets as well as camping sites on the riverbank, so you are welcome to bring your family and friends with and make an unforgettable outing out of this.
Accommodation and camping must be booked for a min of two nights.
We also offer White Water Rafting trips that you and the family can enjoy.

How to get there
Free State, South Africa
Drive on the R59 through Parys on your way to Vredefort. Take the Dimalachite turnoff (see sign) two km. outside Parys. Drive for 7 km (last 4 km is a gravel road) and you will find Dimalachite.
Book with 10% deposit
Once the lodge confirms your trip, your credit card will be charged with a 10% deposit to guarantee the reservation.
Pay remaining balance to the manager
The remaining balance will be paid directly to the lodge up to 7 days before the trip.
