CANCELLATIONS.
With any cancellation occurring prior to 30 days of the start of the fishing trip, the deposit will be re-funded only if the trip is re-sold and a 20% administration fee will be deducted.
Any cancellation occurring within 15 days of the start of the fishing trip no refund will be granted.
It is highly recommended to get Trip Cancellation Insurance to cover yourself.
Force Majeure, (meaning acts of God, explosion, floods, tempest, fire or accident, war, threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance, Government intervention, viral or disease epidemic, weather conditions or other untoward occurrences). In the event of Force Majeure, Mad Samaki Fishing Charters a subsiduery of Shaw and Hunter Limited is entitled to vary or cancel any itinerary or arrangement. Refunds in this case are solely to the discretion of Mad Samaki Fishing Charters or Shaw and Hunter Limited, although all endeavours shall be made to refund where possible.
INSURANCE.
We strongly recommend that you obtain the following types of insurance:
Trip Cancellation. Please purchase this immediately after you purchase your fishing trip to avoid any disappointment in case anything unexpected happens and you are forced to cancel.
Mad Samaki Fishing Charters/Shaw and Hunter Limited highly recommend Global Rescue, Ripcord Rescue and Travel insurance.
Accidental Death and Disability coverage.
MEDICAL.
Make sure your policy coverage extends to Kenya, Tanzania and all countries you will travel through.
Emergency Evacuation. Global Rescue, Ripcord Rescue and Travel insurance.
Theft or Loss of personal effects.
Please understand it is your responsibility to make sure all the above mentioned policies are up to date and you are fully insured before you travel.
LIABILITY
It is very important to understand that Big Game Fishing is a sport that involves inherent risks. Especially deep sea angling can be dangerous and in rare cases result in injuries or even fatality.
Although every possible care is taken to safeguard you and your property, Mad Samaki Fishing Charters/Shaw and Hunter Limited accepts no responsibility for any accidents, injury, illness or fatality nor loss or damage of client's property incurred during or arising while on a fishing trip.
Mad Samaki Fishing Charters/Shaw and Hunter Limited accepts no responsibility for any changes in Government fees or policies. We will however, endeavour to notify you as soon as possible, should this occur.
No guarantees are made for any fish not obtained during the fishing trip as our crew adhere to the principals pertaining to Fair Chase and ethical fishing, as well as the regulations as stipulated by the International Game Fish Association (IGFA).
